Independent Big Boy
Last night we told JMS to go to bed. Then we tried to go to bed ourselves b/c we were both exhausted. 8:30pm and the whole house is in bed!!! So, we thought...my husband went to check on him about 15 minutes later...he was up, with his bedroom light on, playing! He was told to go to bed. Then, this morning...we got up...and he changed out the dvd in the player and got it started all by himself. Yikes! As they get older the challenges just get better.

did I mention that Joshua is still in his crib? that's the way I like him... contained :) I put books in there, and he sits and reads. He read his Bible for at least an hour last night before he went to sleep. I also put a little people airplane in there, which we heard him playing with this morning. I'm going to have to get the toddler bed down from the attic soon though b/c he's potty trained except for nap/bedtime... but changing 2 diapers a day is a small price to pay for keeping him contained :)
