So, this blanket that I just finished for JMS was from the Vanna White's Book called
Vanna's Choice Color it Beautiful Afghans. The pattern told me to pick six colors...then start with the green square in the middle and then turn and stitch...turn and stitch...well, in the picture I would have been done after six rows on each side. Apparently, the written directions and the photographed blanket did not exactly match. The concept was the same...and the blanket turned out well...I'm not excited about the colors I picked...but I adore the reaction I got ...see below.

I think it turned out great! When do you have time to do that? I didn't know Vanna White knitted. That's cool. Gabby wants to be Vanna White when she grows up. Not too shabby of a job in my book :)
I usually crochet while watching TV or riding in the car. :) It is mind-numbing and this I find to be relaxing.
Vanna has a whole line of yarn too...not just a book about how to crochet. Her stuff is really pretty.
cute! I was going to ask if you crocheted or knit it. Looks time consuming either way. If you go to the lion brand website, they have her yarn, and I think some of her patterns too. I'm making a quilt for Zoe... and, apparently, boycotting blogger again.
